Need to get cracking!!

HI Y'all! I have just a little bit to go on this quilt...I hung it back up in the closet about 2 years ago, not quite finished...I am finishing it this week!! The story is...I found the book at the library that had this sampler in it. Another lady (unknown), and I took turns borrowing the book back and forth...until my quilt was together!! I hope hers is done too! High time this baby is finished!!!

It is 2:41 in the morning...awake...wide awake!!! I will sure be glad when the thyroid is not raging anymore...I need my beauty sleep in a bad way, LOL!!!

Have a super weekend all!!!

Amazing work my friend. What's left to do? Maybe it's obvious but I didn't sleep well last night and by golly I don't see it?

I think I recall seeing that quilt when you got it together. It is a beauty. Yes...it is a good idea to get it done!!! I hope your thyroid-med-driven sleep issues resolve soon, too.

Not MY usual style or colors, but great workmanship. How big is it? Where will you use it? If you have the wall space, it would make an amazing wall hanging!

Hope you can sleep soon. Been there and can empathize with you.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who puts almost finished quilts away for a rainy day!! Quite stunning and deserves to be a finished project.

You know what, Julie, .... I have run out of words to express my admiration for you. This quilt is STUNNING (yes, one more time in all of the stunning comments you have received so far :d)!! Your drive, motivation, and accomplishments contiually amaze me. Hugs, dear girl. I hope you eventually get some sleep. I was told once that "you won't die from lack of sleep"; however, I felt like maybe that person slept great every night of their lives *grrr* and had no clue what he was talking about. There have been times I thought I MIGHT die if I didn't get SLEEP! :)

Wow! That's not a "simple" quilt at all - you deserve a few simple ones after this heirloom! So sorry you are not sleeping well - I have trouble off and on too - it stinks!! I don't mind so much on weekends, but when I have to get up and go to work, it's a problem.

I also meant to say - wouldn't it be such a coincidence if you found "the other woman"? LOLOL!

That is such a beautiful quilt. I was going to practice some machine applique and my machine went buggy, figures. Have to wait for it to be checked and some new upgrades.

What a gorgeous quilt! This will no doubt be your crowning achievement with quilting...The hours you have spent creating this lovely quilt, must have been countless...

Puffins and purples!!

I was tempted by Puffins...a squirrelly breed!!  LOL!  This fabric was shared with me, and I have been loved these bright, candy corn colors...
